Admiralty Standard Navigation Charts and Publications
Admiralty Standard Navigation Charts (BA Charts) and publications are used by the majority of ocean-going commercial vessels worldwide. These charts cover all navigable areas of the world and are continuously monitored and updated with the latest navigational information through Admiralty Notices to Mariners (NMs), which are issued weekly and numbered by week and year.
Additional correction and update references include:
* Annual Summary of Admiralty Notices to Mariners (NP247)
* Cumulative Lists of Admiralty Notices to Mariners (NP234A & NP234B), published at six-month intervals
Chart Selection
Charts can be selected using the Admiralty Catalogue (NP131). If you do not have access to the catalogue, please contact us by email with details of your intended voyage, and we will be pleased to assist.
Port Approach Guides
Port Approach Guides are designed for individual ports and contain all the information a mariner requires when planning a port approach. They complement the corresponding standard paper charts and Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs).
